  • Where will the team be playing out of?
    • The team is set to skate out of the new Summit Ice Center in Lockport

 

  • Will other schools be added to the combination for the team?
    • Potentially in time.  AHAI required us to identify our initial core of schools that were going to be where the majority of out players would come from.  As we build out our roster and gauge interest they will allow us to petition for additional schools to be a part of our combination each year.  For that they look at player counts and sustainability of the team over the long term.  For the 2025-26 season the Southsiders will consist of girls that attend the three Lincoln Ways, Lemont, Sandburg, and Providence High Schools.

 

  • Can I play for another team (house, Tier 1, or Tier 2) and the Southsiders at the same time?
    • Yes!  Most girls looking to play will be double rostering on both squads. Our schedule will be built to accomodate that as best as we can.

 

  • What league will the team play in, how many teams will they be fielding?

 

 

  • What will the team cost?
    • That amount will be determined once we get closer to the kick off of the season and we have all of our structure in place
